1st Annual Christmas Card

We sent out Christmas Cards for the first time since Diana and I got married -- 7 years in, not too bad. =) We sent them to about 60 people, who knew we knew so many people (ok, who knew DIANA knew so many people).

The text reads as follows:
To our cherished Family and Friends,

We have been in our house for a whole year now and we hope to be here for many, many more. We love Tooele and all of the friends we have made this year. We can never forget those in our lives who we knew growing up or met at college and we are ecstatic to add you to our Christmas list this year! We hope to hear from all of you!
Geoffrey and I celebrated our 7th year of marriage this year and besides some minor scratching, are passing through the itch with little to report. =) Geoff is thinking about switching career paths, so we’ll wait and see which talent he develops next. I have been sewing at home and loving every minute of it. I’m never bored and even often overwhelmed, but aren’t we all at times? =) Geoff is currently the Sunday School President and I am the first counselor in Relief Society and starting in January, all of our girls will have classes to go to at church and we can end some of the wrestling matches! =) We will have a CTR 6, a Sunbeam and an Ankle Biter, uh, I mean, Nursery-ite, um… Gracie will be in Nursery. =)
Rebecca Diana will turn 6 in January and she loves the Christmas season in her own way. Her multiple disabilities hinder her physically, but her Spirit shines through as she shows her enjoyment at all of the happiness, giving, and loving feelings around her. She also LOVES music and has immensely enjoyed the Christmas music on the radio, from her sisters, and at church. Her Primary teacher told us that she lights up at certain times during lessons that really make them feel her sweet spirit and her knowledge that her Heavenly Father loves her. And so do we!!
Emily Danielle is 3 and trying to find her place in the world. She is a good girl and brings lots of joy to our family. She is mastering new skills each day and absolutely loves the computer and all of the letter and number games she knows how to play. She is a very good storyteller and loves to repeat the stories her Daddy tells her like, Billy Goats Gruff and the Three Bears to her sisters. The other day, she replaced the Bears with Frogs and still told each piece of the story with Mamma Frog, Papa Frog, Baby Frog and the Salamander that came to their house while they were out for a walk. =) She is in dance classes and she makes a beautiful ballerina.
Grace Darla will be 18 months old in January and doesn’t see the point in talking too much as she has a big sister for such things. =) All of our girls Sign as a way of enhancing communication for Becca and Gracie does pretty well with that, unless you ask her to! As long as it is her idea, she is a very good girl. She, also, is testing boundaries and gaining control over more and more aspects of her life. She is a very happy girl who can always be found right behind Emily.
We hope that Christ has stayed in your Christmas this year and that you are happy, healthy and warm!

Lots of love and hugs,
The Sagers

Can you tell which one of us wrote it? If you didn't get the letter, its only because we ran out of stamps. Merry Christmas!
